#1. Trello

Trello is a web-based tool for project management and collaboration.

You can use it to organize just about anything, perhaps the most common uses are for software project management, and organizing big projects into smaller tasks. It is one of the best free marketing tools for small businesses.

It’s visual like Pinterest, with the ability to add notes to cards. You can create multiple boards, lists (to-do, doing, and done), cards (break down projects by steps), invite others or assign tasks to other people with due dates, and more. It makes team collaboration easy! We’ve used Trello to plan our editorial calendar & collaborate with other writers/editors on articles we were working on as well as brainstorm ideas and organize them on one board where everyone could see them at a glance before writing up their articles.
